- Lateral surface of the fibula (longus, brevis); distal front of the fibula (tertius)
- Insertion
- First metatarsal and medial cuneiform (longus); fifth metatarsal (brevis, tertius)
- Action
- Evert the foot; longus and brevis assist plantarflexion, tertius assists dorsiflexion
